A short summary from our organizer Ginny Miller. Thanks for all your hard work

What an amazing group of people we have. You jumped in and participated and donated and really made this an awesome event. I am overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone and all the ways you all found to fund raise. We had bake sales, pie throwing/pie eating contest, bingo, raffles and even pumpkin sales donations on top of all the individual donations as well as bracelet and pin sales. I always try to mention those who do a little extra and this year we have several. First and foremost our Owners John T. Johnson, Jr. and Steven Rollins for donating money to allow us to sponsor several employees on the walk, Holly Mckee – MSW/MSL, Darlene Brandt – ECD-DW, Teresa Thomas – ECD-WB, Deann Pasquale –ECD-MC, Pete Frohling-Dis-LB as well as all the managers at these locations. This is just a few of the people who helped make this event as successful as it is. THANK YOU!

Our fundraising target was $3,000. I’m happy to say we raised $4,354. An outstanding effort by everyone!

Over 22,000 people attended the walk.
