About The Role:
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our maintenance team. This will require to set-up, adjust, repair, and maintain assigned machinery and mechanical equipment with responsibility for production and quality on this equipment.
What You Will Do:
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and takes corrective action.
Performs preventative maintenance, makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for production, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenance.
Tests equipment to check operation. Clears jams and sets aside product for inspection and rework. Tries out equipment after repairs, chamgeovers or extended downtime.
Uses knowledge of electric motors, resistant welders, transformers, ARC welding, air compressors, air cylinders, air control valves and regulators.
Uses knowledge of clutches, bearings, brakes, gears, cams, pulleys, etc.
Uses knowledge of gas burners, regulators, and burner controls,
Uses knowledge of steam generators, steam controls, regulators, and heat exchngers.
Responsible for conducting all works in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
May perform other duties as requested.
May participate on project teams as requested.
Qualification Requirements:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
Basic math skills
Physical ability to:
Occasional heavy lifting 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
Moderately required to stand, walk, or sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Work in a loud, non-air-conditioned environment.
Strong attention to detail and safety
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near and/or with moving mechanical parts. The employee has moderate rick of electric shock. the employee occasionally works near fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud
