Quality Technician

About The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting quality inspections, analyzing data, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations such as ISO 9001. The Quality Technician will collaborate with various departments to support the Quality Management System and improve processes.

What You Will Do:

Perform quality inspections of wire products to ensure compliance to customer specifications.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and measurements for traceability.

Analyze inspection results and provide feedback for corrective actions as necessary.

Collaborate with the QA/QC team to develop and maintain quality management documentation.

Participate in internal audits and support external audits related to the ISO 9001 standard.

Work within a Quality team to assist with QC Hold material & product returns.

Qualification Requirements:

Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and adherence to the standard in a manufacturing environement.

Experience in QA/QC processes and methodologies, including quality control techniques.

Ability to analyze data effectively and provide actionable tasks for quality improvement.

Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration across departments.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Use hand gauges, such as micrometers, calipers, and measuring tapes.

Physical ability to:

Frequently is required to sit, walk, and/or stand

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near and/or with moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Temperature variations depending on season.
